Total dollars paid divided by the number of sales, as published by Cornerstone for the region, each home type and each city.

Live figures

Cornerstone's statistics are updated as late sales are recorded, so a month's figures can move slightly after they are first published. This page shows them as they stood when the month was captured, a few days after Cornerstone's release on the 5th.

City prices

Cornerstone publishes a city's average price for the current month only, next to the same month of the two previous years. City price trends therefore start in August 2026 and grow month by month; transactions go back further.

Townships

Woolwich and Wellesley, Wilmot, and North Dumfries sell a few dozen homes a month, so Cornerstone publishes their average price over the last 12 months instead of a monthly one.

Median price

The price in the middle of all sales: half sold for more, half for less. Less sensitive than the average to a few very expensive homes.

Single Family

Detached houses. Semi-detached homes (two homes sharing one wall), townhouses and condos are reported separately.

Months of inventory

How long the homes currently for sale would last at the current pace of sales. Under about 4 months favours sellers, over 6 favours buyers.

Days on market

Average number of days between listing and sale, for the homes sold in the month.
